Minimum labor charge
We have a $5.00 minimum labor charge.
This means any work we perform on your bike will cost at least $5.00. Maintenance and repair procedures that often fall into this category are: -Inflating your tires -Adjusting your saddle or handlebar position -Lubricating your chain -Removing or installing a small accessory Why? -Our business exchanges goods and services for money. Most people are familiar with this commercial model. -Our experience, knowledge, tools, and supplies are useful, reliable, and valuable. -We are implicitly ensuring our work is professional quality. We don't do slapdash patch jobs to get rid of you. -We are implicitly ensuring your bike is safe to use once we've worked on it. $5.00 buys you a lot at our shop. |
Common Repairs
We offer comprehensive repair services, from basic flat tire repair to complete overhauls. Click for detailed info.
Though we do require you bring your bike to the shop for an assessment and estimate, the cost of these basic services usually falls in the following ranges. Flat tire repair: $25 for standard size tires, new inner tube included Brake adjustment: $10-$25 Derailleur adjustment: $10-$25 Conventional bearing adjustment (hub, bottom bracket, or headset): $10-$30 Wheel truing: $15-$30 Cable replacement and adjustment: $25-$35 Installation of racks or fenders: $25 and up |
